 Presentation – English Learning Process

Hello, my name is Madelenne Jimenez. I am a SENA apprentice studying Technology in Agro-Business Management. I work as a nursing assistant.

Critical Reflection

During my learning process in this English course, I have experienced different challenges, achievements, and important improvements in my communicative skills.

At the beginning, one of my main difficulties was speaking in English and understanding some listening activities. I felt insecure when expressing my ideas. However, through constant practice and the development of different activities, I improved my confidence and fluency.

One of the most important achievements was being able to communicate my ideas more clearly, especially in activities such as the video presentation and the interview. These experiences helped me practice real communication and improve my pronunciation.

The development of the evidence also strengthened my learning process. For example, the brochure helped me organize information, the written document improved my writing skills, and the audio activity allowed me to practice speaking more naturally. In addition, the mental map helped me understand how I learn and how I can apply English in my academic and work context.

Another important aspect was learning how to be more autonomous, flexible, and responsible in my learning process. I learned that if I practice constantly, I can improve my English skills and apply them in real-life situations, especially in my work as a nursing assistant and in my studies in agro-business management.

In conclusion, this course has helped me develop not only my English level but also my confidence, discipline, and ability to communicate effectively. I consider that this learning process will be very useful for my professional and personal growth.
